Great job!
Just curious if you know if Alex Serra has a website or blog too.
Keep up the great work!chrishaleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06062262593718888325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6447837.post-46457486262312766612008-04-17T09:30:00.000-05:002008-04-17T09:30:00.000-05:00just picked this up today! really great work! i re...just picked this up today! really great work! i really love the superman-movie reference (and the smallville reference?). this is a really nice superman story. i've noticed that a lot of these stories don't seem very "just for kids"ish at all (I'm definitely not a kid), and i think if it wasn't a series derived from a cartoon universe, people would really give it the respect it deserves. To me, nothing about this makes it a johnny dc-ish title, and you're telling exactly the sorts of stories i'd want to see in the "adult" LOSH comics! i think what's the strongest here and that i find lacking in a lot of "adult" intended comics is that this isn't really an "action" story, it's more about the characters and their day-to-day interactions. action is good some of the time, but the things i like best are seeing that lois can't spell, and that she drives recklessly, seeing clark trying to puzzle out how to use his freezy breath, and watching brainiac5 and supermans doomed-to-be-complicated relationship. it's that character stuff that makes the fights/conflict whatever heartwrenching! (something i think the cartoon hit on the head with a season of their cute friendship ending with it rocked by Scary-Brainy)

ok! sorry, a lot of words to say "I LOVE THIS BOOK, KEEP WRITING IT, ACTUALLY COULD YOU WRITE THE OTHER LSH SERIES TOO?! PLEASE?"veryveryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17034312362578329119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6447837.post-16911821804373415202008-04-13T21:15:00.000-05:002008-04-13T21:15:00.000-05:00Hey JT, Hate to go off subject here, but I was won...Hey JT,
Hate to go off subject here, but I was wondering if you had any sugjetions for a comic book writer to be.
My friend has found a publisher, but would like to know the ins and outs of writing a comic.
Any help you could give would be very...helpful. We anticipated a third season of the show, and were going to follow along in terms of certain plots (albeit a bit late - we're just catching up to season two now in terms of what's on the stands), but since the show is done we're trying to figure what parts to "keep" (for lack of a better term). One challenge is making some already written Brainiac 5 stuff jive with what happens at the end of the TV series. Please stay tuned for more info here! Suffice it to say (for now) that we love Brainy and he'll be back :)J. Do you have plans for Brainiac 6 or the new and improved Brainiac 5? Just curious.Paulnoreply@blogger.com
