ForeWord Reviews announced this month the finalists for their 2010 Book of the Year Awards. Alison Dare: Little Miss Adventures is among the nominees in the Juvenile Fiction category. This came as a total surprise to me, and I'm sure J. Bone too.

ForeWord Reviews' Book of the Year Awards spotlight books from independent publishers. ForeWord is the only review trade journal focused exclusively on independent publishing houses.

The winners of the Book of the Year Awards will be announced at Book Expo America in May.

Comic Book Time

The Yo Gabba Gabba anthology Comic Book Time is in stores now!

It's a star-studded collection of comic stories by creators like Evan Dorkin, Sarah Dyer, Mike Allred, Jamie S. Rich, Philip Bond, Kelly Sue Deconnick, Dave McCaig, Corey Barba, Eric Orchard, Dean Trippe, and many others. The book features short stories starring DJ Lance, Brobee, Muno, Plex, Foofa, and Toodee as well as original fairy tales in the spirit of the show's "Story Time" segment.
