TEEN TITANS SPOTIGHT: WONDER GIRL
Written by J. Torres; Art and cover by Sanford Greene and Nathan Massengill

DC's mightiest teen goes solo in this volume collecting the action-packed 6-issue miniseries! Currently estranged from Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl's going to need the help of the last man on Earth she ever wanted to see again: Hercules!

DC Universe | 144pg. | Color | Softcover | $17.99 US

Writer's Commentary:
For those of you who have been waiting to read the Wonder Girl: Champion miniseries in collected form, the wait is over! This book not only has Cassie and Diana, but it also features appearances by Robin, Arrowette (yes, Arrowette!), Empress, and Olympian from Global Guardians (no, really!) who not only have to contend with Hercules, but they also go up against the Female Furies (Stompaaaaa!). And before it's all over... somebody dies! You don't want to miss it :)

Hi! As a long-time Arrowette fan, I'm curious as to what would've prompted her to get back in costume in this case, when she'd been so adamant -- to the point of helping as a medic rather than using her archery skills -- about remaining out of the superhero business prior to this point.

Also, her haircut is amazingly cute. I really loved this miniseries, and wish there were more of it. It's so nice to see Cassie remembering that she has leadership experience, and a personality once again.

From a writing/story standpoint, I needed Cassie to reconnect with some of her old friends to get her centered and grounded again. From a DCU standpoint, it made sense for Cissie to come out of retirement, if only this once, because of the Amazon attack and full scale war that followed (please see "Amazons Attack" miniseries and related issues of "Wonder Woman). If you'd like to see more Wonder Girl, please let DC know! I'd love to write another miniseries. Thanks for the question, Erin.

Believe me, your miniseries was a nice relief from the, ah, unbalanced Cassie that we've seen since OYL and slightly prior -- I definitely missed her.

Hm. How do I contact DC to push for another miniseries?
